Viral Hepatitis

Viral hepatitis is an infection that causes liver inflammation and damage. Several different contagions beget hepatitis, including hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E. The hepatitis A and E contagions generally beget acute infections. The hepatitis B, C, and D contagions can beget acute and habitual infections. Heavy alcohol use, poisons, some specifics, and certain medical conditions can beget hepatitis. Still, hepatitis is frequently caused by a contagion. In the United States, the most common types of viral hepatitis are hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C.
